Upskilling

On Wednesday 15th October, 6 of our operatives took part in International Powered Access Federation's (IPAFTraining for Passenger Hoist which was subsidised by O’Neill & Brennan UK.

The training was carried out at our Logistics project at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for IHP (VINCI Building UK and Sir Robert McAlpine joint venture).

The operatives, Tom Holland, Casey Bass, Tom Milner, Scott Wells, Ben Spaull, and Altin Nela, were trained by Jordan Stead, an accredited IPAF instructor. Jordan has carried out a lot of training for us over the years, is fantastic with the operatives, and his training style makes learning easy and enjoyable.

All operatives passed the course and the qualification can be used for 5 years before needing to be renewed. Training will enhance their prospects on securing hoist operator work in the future.

O’Neill & Brennan UK has been committed to workforce upskilling for years, with a strong focus on ensuring all workers maintain current, industry-relevant skills and training.
