Check out our planners for both the Men’s and Women’s Rugby Six Nations campaigns 2020.

With all Nations coming off a RWC rollercoaster last year, no doubt this years Six Nations will be equally as enthralling.

Men's Predictions

Ireland: With new management under Andy Farrell who succeeds Joe Smyth, it will be interesting to see how the Irish respond to his approach. Former world rugby player of the year Johnathan Sexton has been named as Ireland captain and will no doubt step up to the plate to answer his countries call.  If the Leinster players play anywhere near the way they have been playing this year, Ireland will be tough to beat. Prediction: 2nd place

England: Eddie Jones has unlimited talent at his disposal with an ever running conveyor belt of talent coming through the English ranks. That being said, the financial trouble at Saracens involving key players such as Owen Farrell, whose club future is up in the air, will no doubt unsettle them. A world cup mental hangover looms large over the camp and with a tough test away to an up and coming exciting French side may just be too much for the men in white. Prediction: 4th Place

Scotland: The Scots are always considered underdogs against the other home nations but don’t be fooled, they pack as good a punch as any world rugby side on their day. With the absence of Racing Metro’s Finn Russell, who has fallen out in recent weeks with management lingering, is never a good sign when heading into a new campaign. It is hard to see Scotland compete for a title but they will be a potential speed bump for any team that takes them for granted. Prediction 5th Place

Italy: Where to start? Everyone wants them to do well and as often is the case they become their own worst enemy by making juvenile mistakes, which no team can afford to do without being punished at this level. Nevertheless, Italy are another possible speed bump to grand slam glory and will always put up a tough fight. Prediction: 6th Place

France: With new management brining in a completely new philosophy in the camp France are this year’s surprise package and without a doubt will cause a few upsets. Their team is full of young talented exciting players who for many years did not get their chance due to foreign players being brought into the French league, hindering the talent of France's own. This is no longer the case with all top French sides fielding home grown talent and are without question reaping in the rewards. One thing that may hold them back however is a lack of big game experience which may see them slip at the final hurdle against some of the so called top teams. Prediction: 3rd place

Wales: After a world cup full of up’s and down’s, the Welsh will no doubt feel that they underperformed and have a lot to prove. They have all the key ingredients all over the pitch to cook up a storm with Alan Whyn Jones leading the Welsh charge and with the talent, consistency and grit between the likes of George North, Dan Bigger and Leigh Halfpenny, it will be hard to see past a Wales victory whether it be home or away. Prediction: 1st Place – (No Grand Slam)
