Last month, our Account Manager, Paulina Szczygielska, attended a fantastic event called "Leap of Faith."
The event, organised by Wates Group in partnership with charity recruitment agencies, Clean Slate Solutions, and The Recruitment Junction, explored more than 30 supply chain businesses hiring candidates with convictions.
Attendees included some subcontractors and individuals who had either completed their sentences or were nearing completion, actively seeking job opportunities, and Paulina was able to collect several CVs from them.
We are always thrilled to attend these Social Value events, and know the importance of offering employment opportunities to ex-offenders.
Our Constructing Futures initiative, sees us working in partnership with New Futures Network to provide work placements for offenders serving in Category D facilities in the last 36 months of their prison sentence. You can read more about it here: bit.ly/4eKfHpe
