O’Neill & Brennan are proud to announce their part sponsorship with one of Ireland's brightest young kart racing stars, Rory O’Connor.
Rory is an 8-year-old kart racer currently racing with the Norris Carey Motorsport (NCM) team based in county Meath in Ireland. The 2019 season is well under way, with Rory racing in the Novice Cadet class, competing against other youngsters between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, with an average of 25 karts racing in each event.
Rory will be racing in two championships, The Motorsport Ireland National Championship and the Leinster Kart Club Championship, both recognised to be some of Ireland's most prestigious karting events. It's certainly shaping up to be an eventful year for the young driver, having already finished on the podium in the National Championship round 4 in Nutts Corner, which was his first time out after joining the team. He also won the Novice Cadet Winter championship 2019 with Leinster kart club.
We asked Rory what his aspirations would be when he grows up: “My big dream is to be a builder during the week like my Dad and a formula one driver at the weekends."
