Last Friday, Brendan Smith, Commercial Operations Manager, and Ciaran Hoey, Regional Manager, attended the Hampshire County Council’s Construction Skills Fund update meeting in Winchester. Over the last 6 months, O’Neill & Brennan have been working with the CSF to create work opportunities for newly trained operatives in the South.

The CSF courses provide training in 5 locations across Hampshire along with some remote training opportunities planned in the future. It’s a very well run initiative, guided by a strong team of coordinators where effective communication between O’Neill & Brennan and HCC CSF has provided sustained employment success in Hampshire.

Ciaran Hoey, Regional Manager, commented “The partnership between O’Neill & Brennan and Hampshire Council CSF has provided some excellent results in getting CSF learners into work. Our clients have responded well in forecasting requirements to enable us to collaborate with CSF to enhance employment outcomes for the learners. We look forward to continuing this partnership which is improving the skilled and unskilled labour shortage in the industry.”

Please contact Ciaran Hoey or Brendan Smith if you would like to know more about this training partnership which will meet Section 106 obligations in the South.
