Last week at 56 Bishops Avenue, Wates Group held a 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 and invited O’Neill & Brennan UK to attend. Our Logistics Manager, Clare Meehan, our Supervisor, Krasimir Mitrushev, and our Hoist Operator, Donatas, all took part.
The course was led by Nick from Heightworks Limited who went through different ways to rescue a casualty from a tower crane. The participants were taught how to rescue and lower someone from a platform on the climb up to the crane, and also how to rescue the driver from the cab and lower them down to ground level.
All participants are now certified in crane rescue.
