Last Friday, 6th February, we were proud to be part of a fantastic on-site event focused on wellbeing and awareness.

The morning was hosted by Willmott Dixon at their University of Staffordshire Student Village Project, where O’Neill & Brennan UK are delivering the logistics package. The event brought the entire workforce together for a site-wide Safety Stand Down centred on men’s mental health which is a hugely important topic within the construction industry.

Willmott Dixon invited The Lighthouse Charity to deliver a powerful and insightful talk, raising awareness of the support available and reinforcing the message that no one has to face challenges alone.

Our Social Value Executive, Alicia Dobie was proud to attend on behalf of O’Neill & Brennan UK, bringing along Combat2Coffee and funding the free coffee for everyone on site. The Combat2Coffee van provided the perfect setting for informal conversations, connection, and peer support following the session.

Willmott Dixon arranged a mural on site which serves as a lasting reminder of the importance of checking in with one another. A great example of what can be achieved when companies collaborate to put wellbeing first.

A special mention to Jessica Greig for putting this morning together, you're a star!
