We can announce that our South West, South Wales and Birmingham Account Managers are now fully qualified FaceFit Testers. They are fully trained to test both our operatives out on site and our client’s employees and supply chain.
Face Fit testing is a method for checking that a tight-fitting face piece matches the facial features of the person wearing it, and seals adequately. It also identifies unsuitable and not fit for purpose face pieces which should not be used.
In the UK, respiratory-related diseases and conditions account for the third-largest work-related illness. Those affected include metal plate workers, vehicle body builders, plumbers, gas fitters, carpenters and bakers. Face Fit testing reduces this number as it ensures all workers have the right protection from hazardous environments.
Our managers in the South West and South Wales region are also now fully qualified drug and alcohol testers.
