O’Neill & Brennan are delighted to announce further expansion in the UK with the opening of a new office in early 2017. The new office, based in Cambridge, will primarily support O’Neill & Brennan’s presence in the East of England, mirroring the locations of many of our clients and candidates within the construction industry.

The Cambridge office will also allow us to explore new partnership opportunities within construction, expanding our business portfolio, covering both Trades & Labour and Recruitment. The increase in volume of business in this area was demonstrated earlier in the year with £50m worth of development work in Cambridge and the completion of a large Ibis Hotel project in the City centre that we also supplied operatives for. As a result, it now makes sense to have a physical presence there, to easier fill the wide array of construction jobs available.

Tim Barton, Director of Recruitment at O’Neill & Brennan, was understandably excited about the new venture: “Our work in Cambridge and the surrounding area has been phenomenal. We’ve cultivated a strong presence here and this permanent base will allow us to cover a wider geographical area, and offer a more comprehensive range of services to local candidates.”

In the years since O’Neill & Brennan was incorporated in 1990, the company’s presence has grown exponentially. Employing over 120 staff members, our locations cover the UK and Ireland, bringing the total number of permanent offices to 15, making us perfectly placed to supply to over 700 live sites. This year alone we have opened up three new offices, including Exeter and Cheltenham.

The Cambridge office will be managed by a dedicated team with considerable local experience and knowledge. Dave Benson, Director of Trades & Labour, concluded: “It’s an exciting time for O’Neill & Brennan. This expansion into new territories makes the future for the company look incredibly positive, and allows the Trades & Labour Division to further increase our service offering.”
