Laying Foundations for Local Futures

O’Neill & Brennan UK and our Social Enterprise, Evengreen, are delighted to be working alongside Willmott Dixon on the Marple Community Hub project in Stockport, supporting their commitment to creating lasting social value within the local community.

Through Willmott Dixon’s Building Lives Academy, we are helping to support 10 care leavers from the area by providing meaningful employment support, careers guidance and access to hands-on work experience. 

Participants will also gain their CSCS card through Procure Plus, helping to remove barriers to employment and open pathways into the construction industry, with the opportunity for some to progress into full-time roles following the programme.

Social value is central to how we work. We proactively support our clients in delivering on their social value commitments, going beyond compliance by investing in our own dedicated Social Value team. By engaging with more diverse talent pools and providing the right support and guidance, we help individuals overcome barriers and build long-term careers within the construction industry.
