Last Thursday a fire broke out in Reading and if it wasn't for the bravery and quick thinking of Crane Operator, Glen Edwards, the outcome most certainly would have have been tragic!
This highlights the immense skill required of Crane Operators, and their role keeping sites and workers safe.
There’s a GoFundMe set up for Glen, asking for the price of a pint (£5) from construction workers to show gratitude and say thanks to Glen for pulling the levers and saving that guys life just weeks before Christmas.
At the time of writing this, donations had reached nearly £9,000.
