At O’Neill & Brennan UK, we believe that construction projects can create value far beyond the buildings themselves.
On Friday 5th June, materials from the IHP Royal Shrewsbury Hospital project (Vinci and Sir Robert McAlpine joint venture) were donated to Shrewsbury Mens Shed, helping to give surplus materials a second life while supporting a fantastic local community organisation. The donation included; timber from shuttering, marine plywood from weatherproofing and pallets.
A special thank you to our Logistics Manager, Sergiu Florea, who kindly donated the use of a Luton van to transport the materials, and to the team who helped load and unload the donation.
This initiative not only helps reduce waste but also supports the valuable work carried out by Shrewsbury Men's Shed, providing resources that can be put to good use within the local community.
It's always rewarding to see collaboration, sustainability, and community engagement come together to make a positive impact.
