Senior Site Manager – Dublin

Company Overview:

Site Manager required for a well-established Main Building Contractor to work on a residential project in Dublin.  This role will ideally suit candidates who have worked on medium to large scale building projects in Ireland or the UK previously. 

Job Summary:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
• Checking plans, drawings and supervision of subcontractors across the project.
• Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of standards.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme.
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Engineering / Construction Management or Trade background.
• The successful Senior Site Manager will have at least 10 years’ experience working for main building contractors in Ireland or the UK.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects
• Computer literate.
• Good knowledge of safety and quality management.
