Freelance Site Manager – Residential Housing

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to provide holiday cover on a residential new-build development in Yatton, North Somerset.

The development is part of a new community of traditionally designed homes, combining modern living with the character of the surrounding area. Our client is an established UK housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering quality new homes and creating attractive residential environments.

Working alongside the existing site team, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors and trades.

• Maintain high standards of health, safety and site housekeeping.

• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

• Manage site progress and report issues to the relevant management team.

• Ensure work is completed in line with programme and quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing residential new-build housing developments.

• Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.

• Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage site activities independently and maintain high standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Freelance Site Manager seeking a short-term assignment with an established residential developer.
