Site Engineer – Limerick

DOE: €70k – €80k

Company Overview:

O’Neill & Brennen are hiring an experienced Site Engineer on behalf of our client for a new build residential project in Limerick. The successful candidate will join the site team on a permanent basis and will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed accurately, safely and to the required standards.

Job Summary:

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Site Engineer for a main contractor in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong experience on new build residential projects.
• Proven experience in setting out and surveying on construction sites.
• Proficient in the use of Total Station, GPS and other surveying equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
