Site Engineer – Dublin

DOE: €70K – €80K + Company Vehicle

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Site Engineer to oversee site activities at a project based at Dublin Airport. The role will primarily involve site supervision, ensuring works are completed to the required standards and specifications. The successful candidate must also be capable of checking setting-out works and ensuring accuracy on site.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site activities and monitor progress against project schedules.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Check setting-out works completed on site and verify accuracy where required.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Liaise with the project management team to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate site records and report on progress.

Requirements:

• Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Site Engineer role within the construction industry.
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
• Essential ability to check and verify setting-out works carried out on site.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive approach to maintaining quality and health and safety standards.
