Company Overview:

O’Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting for an experienced site engineer on behalf of our client, to join their team for a new residential development project based in County Cork.

Job Summary:

• Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Preparing progress reports and communicating updates to the site management team, client, and consulting engineers.
• Supervising setting out, levelling, and surveying works for roads, drainage, utilities, and other civil infrastructure.
• Using AutoCAD and survey data to verify site dimensions and resolve construction issues.
• Liaising with subcontractors, site management, utility providers, and design consultants to coordinate project activities.
• Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4+ years’ experience in Civil Engineering works.
• Previous groundworks experience is essential.
• Experience working on Civils projects in Ireland or the Uk.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
