Company Overview:

A contractor who has numerous projects across Ireland is seeking a Site Engineer to support their team on pharmaceutical project in Athlone.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for ensuring all permits and safety is kept to a high standard.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients.
• Ordering materials and delegating work on site.
• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 + years’ experience on construction sites.
• Experience working on high value projects in Ireland or the Uk.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
