Senior Engineer – Kinnegad

DOE:  €75k + Company Vehicle

Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to oversee engineering activities on site, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, quality standards and programme requirements. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating site teams, managing technical aspects of the project and supporting the successful delivery of construction works.

Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Manage setting-out activities and ensure accuracy across all works.
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to maintain project progress.
• Monitor quality control and ensure works meet project specifications.
• Liaise with project managers, consultants and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a Senior Engineer role within the construction industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and engineering principles.
• Experience managing setting-out, quality control and site coordination.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve engineering issues.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
