Senior Site Engineer – Athlone

DOE: €70k – €80k

Overview:

A contractor with numerous projects across Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on an upcoming Residential project in Athlone, consisting of apartment refurbishment and new-build works.

Job Summary:

• Check plans and drawings to ensure all calculations are accurate.
• Providing progress reports for the site management team & clients
• Supervising the Setting out, levelling and surveying the site.
• Regular use of AutoCAD to check on site dimensions.
• Liaising with sub-contractors & site managers.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7+ years’ experience in setting out on construction sites.
• Experience working on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects in Ireland or the Uk.
• Experienced in the use of instruments (total station, GPS)
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
