Senior Quantity Surveyor

Exciting opportunity to join a reputable main contractor as they mobilise a major £90 million scheme in South Wales – project start imminent!

The Role: Reporting to the Commercial Manager/Director, you will take a lead role in managing commercial aspects of this landmark project, ensuring robust cost control, value engineering, and profitable delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full QS duties including interim valuations, final accounts, and variations
• Cost reporting, forecasting, and risk management
• Subcontractor procurement and management
• Commercial support to the project team

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Senior QS on main contract projects
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC)
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying; MRICS desirable
