Role: Project Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: East London / Essex
Salary: £65,000-£85,000 + Package

The Opportunity
A well-established main contractor is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major £200m infrastructure scheme in East London / Essex.
This is a long-term opportunity to join an experienced project team, taking commercial responsibility for key packages from procurement through to final account.
The position would suit someone from a main contracting background with experience across infrastructure, civil engineering or other large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Commercial management of allocated packages.
- Procurement and management of subcontractors.
- Preparation of cost reports, forecasts and CVRs.
- Valuations, variations and change control.
- Management of subcontractor accounts through to final account.
- Contract administration and commercial reporting.
- Working closely with the operational team, client and wider project stakeholders.

Requirements
- Main contractor experience.
- Strong subcontractor procurement and account management experience.
- Good understanding of cost reporting, forecasting and change management.
- Infrastructure or civil engineering experience would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial and communication skills.
- Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related qualification preferred.
