QS / Estimator – Frankfurt

Rate: €60 – €65 per hour (DOE)

Company Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a QS/Estimator for our client, a main contractor with ongoing projects in Ireland and across Europe. The successful candidate will join their commercial team based in their Frankfurt, Germany office, supporting the delivery of a high-value data centre construction project in Frankfurt.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions for a high-value data centre project.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes to identify cost, risk, and value opportunities.
• Manage cost control for electrical works, including forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Procure and evaluate electrical subcontractor and supplier packages, including tender comparisons.
• Administer commercial aspects of electrical works, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, site teams, and the electrical supply chain, including site visits.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as an Electrical QS / Estimator or an Electrical Engineering or Trade background
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally on data centre or civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage the estimating process and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong IT skills, including CostX or Buildsoft and advanced MS Excel.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary project team.
