MEP Quantity Surveyor – Dublin

Company Overview:
A main contractor who has various ongoing projects across Ireland is seeking a MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in Dublin.
Job Summary:
- Prepare accurate MEP cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities from drawings and specifications.
- Carry out measurement, cost planning, and tender analysis for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing packages.
- Manage procurement of MEP subcontractors and suppliers, including contract negotiations.
- Monitor cost control, valuations, and progress payments throughout the construction phase.
- Assess and manage variations, claims, and final accounts in line with contract requirements.
- Work closely with design teams, site engineers, and project managers to ensure commercial and technical alignment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject.
- Strong track record on commercial build projects.
- 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience of package negotiation.
- A proven track record in customer relationship development.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and logical skills.
