Senior Quantity Surveyor – Meath
DOE: €95k - €115k

 

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in County Meath. The successful candidate will work closely with both the commercial and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects.

 

Responsibilities:
• Manage quantity surveying, estimating, and project cost control.
• Oversee procurement, contract administration, and supply chain development.
• Work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are delivered within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Monitor budgets, variations, payment applications, and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and project risks.
• Ensure contractual compliance, quality standards, and best value across all project elements.
• Reporting monthly to senior management on the financial performance/ cost value reconciliation.
• Review subcontractor and supplier performance and provide support to junior QS team members.

 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role with a Main Contractor.
• Residential project experience preferred; similar sector experience considered.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
• Professional membership of a recognised institution is desirable.
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence.
• Strong numerical, IT, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain a professional approach
