Assistant Project Manager

DOE: €70k - €80k

 

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive and motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, supporting project execution, HSEQS, programme, quality, procurement, stakeholder management, and project close-out.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in the delivery of design and construction projects.
  • Manage project reporting, team meetings, and package management.
  • Assist with Project Execution Plans, programme, risk, and performance management.
  • Support HSEQS management and promote Zero Defect and Zero Snag standards.
  • Review and approve RAMS with the Project Manager.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure activities are effectively coordinated.
  • Coordinate Package Owners, Quality Plans, ITPs, and project deliverables.
  • Raise and manage NCRs where works do not meet required standards.
  • Assist with procurement and the management of trade contractors.
  • Support project close-out and handover in line with the contract programme.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.

 

Requirements:

  • Working towards Chartered status with CIOB, CPEng, MICE, or equivalent.
  •  Construction or Engineering background.
  • CSCS for Managers and SMSTS.
  • DM/PSCS Awareness.
  • BBS and Root Cause Analysis training.
  • Lifting Operations basic awareness.
  • BIM Fundamentals.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Diploma or Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related discipline is desirable.
