A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager, Project Lead or Project Director to oversee the delivery of a major flagship civil engineering and infrastructure scheme in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering major civil engineering and infrastructure schemes, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving successful project outcomes. You'll be taking a senior leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the scheme from planning through to completion.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the successful delivery of a major civil engineering and infrastructure scheme
- Lead and manage project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders
- Take responsibility for programme management, project performance and operational delivery
- Ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
- Work closely with commercial teams to manage project costs, risks and contractual obligations
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and project partners
- Provide strategic leadership and direction throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering major civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Previous experience operating at Contracts Manager, Project Lead, Project Director or equivalent level
- Strong technical understanding of complex civil engineering and infrastructure works
- Demonstrable experience managing high-value projects and large multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent commercial awareness, leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage project programmes, budgets and key stakeholder relationships
- Ambitious and motivated individual looking to take ownership of a flagship scheme
