DOE: €60k - €65k

Company Overview:

A service contractor is seeking a Safety Advisor to support their team in County Carlow. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and promoting high Health & Safety standards across a range of projects.

Job Summary:

• Delivering Health & Safety induction programmes for new employees working on site.
• Ensure that project specific Health & Safety Plan, including Risk Assessments specific to the project, are drawn up prior to the commencement of work.
• Conduct regular inspections and site audits.
• Ensure that all accidents are reported, recorded and investigated and that suitable
• Compiling relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and preparing for Toolbox Talks inductions etc.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant Third Level Qualifications.
• 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Electrical experience, particularly on power related contracts, is advantageous.
• Strong Quality and Audit experience.
• Ability to prioritise work requirements and handling multiple tasks.
• IT Skills – MS Office packages and database experience.
• Full Drivers licence and willingness to travel.
