Health & Safety Manager (Civils) – Dublin

Job Overview:

O'Neill and Brennan are currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager on behalf of our client, a main contractor delivering construction projects across Ireland. The Health and Safety  Manager will join their team on a Civils development in Dublin.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert QHSE guidance to managers and staff on legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Ensure Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality systems are fully developed, implemented, and consistently applied.
• Monitor compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
• Lead internal audits and support external inspections.
• Reviewing sub-contractors' safety statements and safety compliance.
• Assisting site management in drafting and communicating method statements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Extensive experience within a civil engineering, utilities or telecommunications environment
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages
