A well-established civil engineering contractor, is currently seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a new civils project based in Dundalk. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a forward-thinking Irish contractor delivering high quality local projects.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct weekly site safety audits and report findings.
• Advise site management on Health & Safety regulations.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training for site staff.
• Perform risk assessments and assist in developing method statements
• Compile monthly safety reports for management.
• Hold weekly safety meetings with subcontractors to ensure coordinated and safe activities.
• Monitor health and safety compliance, stopping unsafe operations if necessary.
• Record, investigate, and report accidents/near misses.

Requirements:

• Recognised EHS Degree, Diploma or NEBOSH qualification.
• 2-4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Ability to prioritise work requirements and handle multiple tasks.
• IT Skills - MS Office packages and database experience.
• Experience working on high value projects.
