Company Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting a General Foreman for our client, a contractor delivering multiple ongoing residential projects, to join their team on a new Residential project in Middelton, County Cork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring project completion on schedule and to required standards.
• Manage and direct site personnel and subcontractors on site.
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Ensure all work meets required specifications through regular quality checks.
• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to optimise costs and efficiency.
• Liaise with Site/Project Managers and clients.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Site supervision experience with a trades background.
• Experience overseeing residential projects from initial stages to completion.
• External/Façade/Brickwork experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of latest building regulations and certification standards.
• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/projects.
• Must have the ability to manage the multi-disciplinary teams of contactors & site operatives.
