D.O.E: €35 – €40 per hour

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Finishing Foreman for our client, a main contractor with various ongoing projects. The Finishing Foreman will join their team on a project based in Wexford.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finishing works on site, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with tradesmen, subcontractors, and site management to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
• Manage timelines and work schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Liaise with project managers and provide updates on progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Finishing Foreman with a main contractor.
• Strong finishing experience across construction projects.
• Carpentry background/trade qualification highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of construction trades and finishing works.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and building regulations.
• Ability to manage trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to achieve demanding time, quality, and safety targets.
