Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Finishing Foreman for our client, a main contractor with a portfolio of ongoing projects across Ireland. The Finishing Foreman will join their team on a new build residential project based in Cork and will be responsible for overseeing all finishing works on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all finishing works on site, ensuring top-quality workmanship.
• Coordinate with tradesmen, subcontractors, and site management to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
• Manage timelines and work schedules to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Liaise with project managers and provide updates on progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree / Higher Diploma qualification in Construction Management and/ or equivalent trade qualification.
• Significant experience working on residential / commercial projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Excellent knowledge of trades, and in particular, carpentry
• Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
