Environmental & Sustainability Advisor – Kildare

DOE: €50k – €60k

Company Overview:

Our client, a leading construction and building contractor with a strong portfolio of projects, is seeking an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join their team in Kildare. This role will support the delivery of environmental and sustainability objectives across projects, working closely with site teams and management to ensure environmental standards, legal requirements and sustainability targets are achieved and continually improved.

Job Summary:

• Provide technical expertise and support to the Health Safety and Environmental Team.
• Conduct site visits to review environmental and ESG related performance.
• Assist in external audits.
• Engage with our supply chain and vendors relating to environmental and sustainability requirements, performance and improvement.
• Develop and deliver Environmental and ESG related training and communications
• Attend relevant HSE meetings as required.
• Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in an Environmental, Sustainability or similar role, ideally within the construction sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree/Third Level qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Construction or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001.
• Strong understanding of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
