Senior Contracts Manager – Cork

D.O.E  €90k – €110K

Overview:

O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Contracts Manager on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of a major project in Cork, overseeing project performance, commercial delivery, quality and health & safety.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the overall delivery of the project from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
• Manage project programmes, resources, subcontractors and the wider project team.
• Oversee commercial performance, budgets, CVRs and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure all works are delivered safely to programme and in line with quality requirements.
• Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
• Drive project close-out, defect management, handover and continuous improvement.

What you’ll need:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction or a related discipline, ideally Chartered.
• Strong experience in a Contracts Management or senior project delivery role.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Knowledge of Temporary Works, Excavation Safety and live energy works.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality, risk management and contractual requirements.
• Experience with CVRs, Project Execution Plans (PEPs) and commercial project management is desirable.
