Site Manager

Salary/Package:  £65,000 - £70,000 + travel reimbursed

O’Neill and Brennan are currently working with a masive main contractor, who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team, working on high-profile refurbishment and fit-out projects across Central London, with projects based around Liverpool Street and St Paul’s.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment and fit-out schemes across London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades, maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day site operations and construction activities
• Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site teams
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
• Managing short-term programmes and sequencing of works
• Conducting regular site inspections and monitoring progress
• Ensuring health & safety procedures and company standards are maintained
• Liaising closely with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team
• Monitoring workmanship and ensuring specifications and drawings are followed
• Attending site meetings and providing progress updates
• Identifying and resolving issues efficiently to maintain programme
• Managing site logistics and coordinating deliveries and materials

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Site Manager within a refurbishment and fit-out environment
• Experience managing construction activities on medium to large-scale projects
• Strong understanding of refurbishment, fit-out, construction processes and sequencing
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong knowledge of health & safety requirements
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• Relevant construction qualifications, including SMSTS
• CSCS and First Aid desirable
• Previous Central London refurbishment / fit-out experience advantageous
