Purpose of role

To assist the Company Buyer in the purchase order and delivery process for site services to ensure we are efficient and fulfilling our contractual obligations.

Hours

Wednesday to Friday 

8.00am-3.00pm (hours are negotiable to suit the right candidate)

Job Description

  • Receiving and tracking large numbers of orders
  • Creating purchase orders to match the orders received
  • Liaising with suppliers to arrange deliveries
  • Dealing with queries and requests from suppliers, clients and staff
  • Assisting Company Buyer
  • General administration 

 Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
  • Ability to provide excellent administration support
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle difficult telephone calls and emails in a professional manner
  • Ability to multi-task

Relevant Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a procurement role
  • Experience using a purchase order system (Evolution M knowledge desirable)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook
