O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Setting out Engineer on behalf of our Client.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in setting out, both civils and building works. This construction project is based in South Dublin.

As a Setting out Engineer the role will include:

• Checking drawings, specifications & plans
• Setting out Reinforced concrete & steel frame buildings, groundworks etc
• Supervising subcontractors & monitoring Health and Safety
• Quality Control
• Site record Keeping
• General Administration Duties
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned

As a Setting out Engineer you will have:

• Third level degree qualified in Engineering / Related Discipline
• At least 5+ years setting out experience
• Experience using tools ie. Robotic Total Stations, Level etc.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong IT Skills with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills
• Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
• Should have the ability to work well in a team-based environment
• Should be honest, flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking.
