O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a Junior Quantity Surveyor for our Client with various ongoing construction projects across Ireland. The company has a proven track record of delivering major infrastructure, industrial facilities, and commercial developments.

The successful candidate will join the team in Cork.

Junior Quantity Surveyor responsibilities include:

• Assisting Senior QS in day-to-day operations
• Measuring & Pricing
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts
• Dealing with queries raised from sub-contractors
• Purchasing materials
• Liaising with on-site foremen
• Submitting payment claims
• Occasional site visits may be required

Junior Quantity Surveyor requirements:

• QS related degree
• Must have experience in the construction industry (minimum 2 years relevant experience)
• Full driver’s license
• Ability to work as part of a team
