Project Manager - Permanent - West Midlands 

One of the UK`s leading Tier 1 Main Contractors is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team in the West Midlands area. Initial project is a Care Home close to Birmingham (£12M).

As a Project Manager you will be heading up the site team reporting to the Project Director and will successfully manage all aspects of the building site, with responsibility for health and safety issues, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand specifications, drawings, preliminaries, preambles and contract documentation
• Produce H&S and O&M on completion of projects
• Issue subcontractors with regular short term programmes to ensure planned progress is achieved
• Hold progress meetings
• Liaise with the design team, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to and maintain good working relationships
• Ensure full compliance with all Health & Safety aspects

Requirements:

• Must have similar experience working for a Main Contractor
• Strategic programming experience
• Excellent communication written & verbal
• Have the ability to work autonomously and drive a strong site team
