O’Neill & Brennan, Ireland’s leading construction recruitment agency are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the country’s leading building contractors.

Our client is currently looking for a Senior MEP Manager tojoin their team in Galway

As an MEP Manager your responsibilities will be to:

  • The timely completion of the project, adhering to specified cost and resource budgets without sacrificing high standards of Quality & Safety.
  • Liaising with other project leadership teams, always ensuring that the Project Director is kept informed of important affairs
  • The development and implementation of MEP Construction and Conditioning Strategies
  • Coordinating and leading the MEP Services Design
  • Fostering and enhancing positive work relations to ensure high performance from team members
  • Devising and implementing a project plan and adapting said plan as needed throughout the course of project works
  • Providing the project controls team with accurate project data to allow them to generate reports
  • Ensuring adherence to all construction management, Breeam and CEMP plans
  • Develop a critical path, a logical sequence of milestones and other relevant organisational supports for the project
  • Encourage innovation and the transfer of knowledge between team members
  • Implementing measures to minimise the negative impact of operations and maximize opportunities to improve the quality of the built environment for future generations.
  • Sharing best practice and applying principles in community involvement in order to make the client’s performance visible and maximising the beneficial impact of the client’s activities

The successful MEP Manager will be required to have:

  • Qualifications in Engineering or Chartered Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer
  • 8+ years experience in Building M&E projects
  • The ability to manage project packages of over €20m
  • Proficiency in MS Office and competent using modern technology (Mobile Apps etc…)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering a team atmosphere and establishing excellent relationships with clients and contractors.


  • Salary range circa €65,000+ DOE,
  • Healthcare Insurance,
  • Travel Allowance
