Senior CDM Advisor

£65,000 - £75,000 per annum


A London and Kent based multidisciplinary construction and property consultancy working within the public and private sectors, has a new opportunity for a Senior CDM Advisor either on a permanent or mid term contract basis.
The client provide advice to the construction of; commercial, regeneration, new-build, media, healthcare, education sectors.
This is a client-facing role, so we are looking for someone with excellent people skills, with the ability to deliver professional CDM services. A Building Magazine top 50 Surveying Company and Top 150 Consultancy for 2018. The company are twenty years young, with hundreds of cumulative years of skills, knowledge and experience.
The successful CDM Advisor should ideally hold the following:
Expert knowledge of Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regs (past 2007 and current 2015)
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety
TechIOSH membership and CMaPS membership (or working towards)
Ability to manage own time effectively, prioritise workload and ability to lead own projects
Client-facing consultancy experience As the CDM Advisor your main responsibilities will include:
Perform Principal Designer duties in accordance with CDM 2015
Identifying and managing design related risks within design and construction
Provide a role as CDM Advisor to Clients and Contractors
Communicating effectively with contractors, designers and clients
Reviewing and monitoring designers' compliance
Plan, coordinate and manage the pre-construction phase of projects
Ensuring designers comply with CDM regulations

Salary circa £65k- £75k based on experience and negotiation
