O’Neill & Brennan, Ireland’s leading construction recruitment agency, are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an established fit-out company with a variety of departments such as design, installation, manufacturing and warehouse.

Our client is currently seeking experienced Fit-out Quantity Surveyors to join their team in their Head Office in Dublin 12. This is a permanent full time position with an immediate start.

Roles/Responsibilities of the successful Fit-out Quantity Surveyor:

  • Bringing the project from conception through to total completion in a timely, cost effective and organised manner
  • Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings, engineering estimates, materials required and labour involved
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Final Account negotiations etc.
  • Dealing with clients/engineers/contractors.
  • Closely monitor and process project variations.
  • Prepare reports including cost reports and cash flow forecasts
  • Issuing tender queries and preparation of tender reports
  • Preparing progress applications and cost reports
  • Attend project and subcontractor meetings
  • Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered.
  • Liaise and report to the Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Representative of the company at all relevant site and other meetings

As a Quantity Surveyor you will have

  • A Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience with proven track record
  • Ability to work within tight time and budget restraints
  • Methodical way of thinking
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good financial and numeracy management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • The ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Computer literate
  • A clear understanding of HSE building regulations and legal guidelines

 

Salary:

€65,000 to €75,000 DOE
