Construction Project Manager – Residential Development - Mold  

My client, a leading and highly renowned Construction company, is currently looking to recruit a Project Manager, with a proven track record of delivering mixed residential projects valued in excess of £20m. The successful candidate will report to a senior PD. This is a permanent position,.

The work will be on a new-building housing development, which is being built in association with the council. This is a position which offers great scope for career progression and a chance to join an ever-growing company. 

The Role:

  • Managing the day to day working of the project and supporting the site team in making decisions and providing direction that suits the projects targets in terms of safety, programme and commercial control  
  • Preparing and issuing Project Management Plans, including regular reviews and revisions as necessary.
  • Managing the Programme, monitoring costs and budget
  • Leading, coordinating and motivating the site team and supply chain in achieving a collaborative team approach to deliver the project
  • Setting up quality procedures and ensuring these are implemented.
  • Managing site health and safety, security and fire policies.
  • Formulating and overseeing implementation of risk and opportunity management
  • Managing the project handover and ensuring a defect / snag free completion.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A broad construction technical experience 
  • Commercial and contract  awareness
  • Proven and effective Leadership skills
  • Proven experience to manage a project team
  • Proven experience of similar high-rise, high-value city centre construction projects
  • Proven experience of implementing relevant Health & Safety procedures and culture
  • Proven experience of managing complex logistics including multiple tower cranes and lifting plans
  • Knowledge of Environmental, BREEAM and CCS systems and procedures.
  • Competent knowledge of IT packages
  • Self-motivation
  • Valid driver’s licence
