Document Controller, High End Developer, West London - £28,000 to £33,000 plus Car or Allowance, Bonus and Package.

I am recruiting a Document Controller for an award winning developer on a brand new luxury residential project.

They are recruiting for this position due to the current London Market which is experiencing unprecedented growth. They are one of the leading luxury developers in London if not the in UK; its developments are among the most sought after in London.

They have annual turnover just over £1 Billion, renowned for designing and building award winning residential developments. They have been voted as one of the top 20 companies to work for.

Project:

The project consists of a two storey basement car park plus ground floor parking (circa 450 spaces), with 4 no. residential towers above the first floor podium (3 – 10 storeys) giving a total of approximately 184 homes. There are also 35 units to adjoin Phase 1 to build/and/or complete, - hence the overall total residential is 219 units.

Role of a Documented Controller:

The Document Controller will co-ordinate the document filing and transmittals for the Project Team incorporating Variation Orders and Site Instructions and associated processes.in order to support, the teams on one of London’s most exclusive residential developments.

Duties:

  • Input and manage incoming documents on data management systems to ensure accurate records of the project documents.
  • Produce monthly reports/statements on document control status.
  • Conduct printing and photocopying.
  • Be highly organised, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced level grasp of Microsoft Office.

Ideal candidate:

  • Have previous document control experience from within the construction industry (desirable).
  • Experience of using SharePoint or Aconex document management would be an advantageous although is not essential.
  • Have excellent written and communication skills.
