Our client is recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their team based in Westmeath. This is a contract role to cover maternity leave.

 

Accounts Assistant Responsibilities Include:

  • This role is to assist the department in the day to day processing of incoming invoices,
  • Weekly bank reconciliations,
  • Assisting with the month / year end routines,
  • Prepare & submit bi-monthly VAT returns & payments,
  • Prepare & submit monthly VIES & Intrastat returns,
  • Prepare & submit CSO returns,
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets / reforecasts.

 

The successful Accounts Assistant Requirements:

  • Accounts Degree/Diploma is required,
  • Advanced and proficient in the use of Microsoft office (Excel, Word & Outlook),
  • Highly numerate & comfortable with large volumes of data,
  • Self-motivated & ability to work under own initiative,
  • Excellent attention to detail.
