The Role

  • Being the first point of contact for candidates who are calling and visiting the office.
  • Keeping an existing candidate database up to date, gauging candidate's requirements and informing the consultants of their suitability.
  • Receiving and reviewing candidate applications, conducting telephone interviews and checking references.
  • Checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to client.
  • Ensuring that relevant paperwork has been filled out & signed and acceptable ID has been supplied.
  • Drafting and placing job adverts to various job boards and social media and dealing with advert response.
  • Dealing with general queries related to contracts, pay, logistics, etc.
  • Managing worker timesheets and holiday requests as well as dealing with payroll queries in a professional manner, liaising with other departments in order to achieve a successful outcome.
  • Managing general recruitment administration process and formalities including; applicant registration forms, ID, references & legal checks.
  • Performing general administrative duties, completing reports, requesting and monitoring documentation of various forms.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational, numeric and literacy skills.
  • Computer literate and competent with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Ability to provide excellent administration support.
  • Driven, reliable and punctual.
  • Abe to work well in, and enhance, a team.
  • A positive “can do” attitude.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Experience Required

  • Experience in a similar role desirable.
