Health & Safety Manager

Our Client requires a Health & Safety Manger in their head office in North Dublin. The successfully candidate will also be required to travel to sites when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Mange and coordinate Health & Safety advisors on site.
• Provide Safety, Health & Welfare advice and direction to relevant personnel on site as required.
• Conducting regular site audits and carrying out inspections to ensure safe operating procedures are adhered to.
• Manage sub-contractor safety statements and required method statements
• Complete and maintain the required HSA Construction industry related registers to ensure compliance with legislative requirement

Requirements:

• Third level Degree/Diploma and qualification in Health and Safety would be required.
• Proven relevant construction experience on site, with a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ Health & Safety experience with at least 5 years as a project Health & Safety Manager within the Irish Construction Sector.
• Ability to work on own initiative, be able to give instruction to site personnel and have an excellent working knowledge of safety legislation.
• Experience on pre-tender and tender project stage would be valuable, on the analysis and preparation of work-winning submissions.
• Experience in Residential projects desirable.
