Fire Safety Engineer

London Bridge


£40,000 - £60,000 per annum


Fire Safety Engineer required to provide guidance, support and monitoring to operating Divisions and Group Functions on passive and active fire protection systems in the construction of new homes, and ensure the Group’s processes remain compliant with Building Regulations and other legislation affecting fire safety.

You will work with operating Divisions and technical teams to review fire engineering solutions in relation to the construction of new homes including multi-storey developments . 

As an experienced Fire Safety Engineer with extensive experience in the UK market, we would expect that you will be able to demonstrate good appreciation of the commercial factors which affect design solutions and experience of considering these factors on a number of multi-storey schemes

To qualify for this key role covering sites within London & Southern Counties, you must have at least 5 years experience in fire safety strategies for high rise developments and a degree in a fire related subject as defined by the Engineering Council; or Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) Level 4 certificate; or an IFC recognised education programme for MIFireE.

You will be a Member of the Institute of Fire Engineers and also hold a NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate.

Mobile site based role with flexibility on office location as client has offices in Kent, London & Surrey. WFH base also an option.
