O’Neill & Brennan are currently recruiting for a General Foreman on behalf of Our Client, a well-established Construction company, with a diverse project portfolio.

The General Foreman will join their team on industrial / refurbishment / fit out project based in Co. Kildare area.

General Foreman duties:

• Management of subcontractors/general workforce on site
• Planning works in an efficient manner to ensure
• Reading & interpreting drawings for layouts, materials measure etc.
• Liaise with client’s representatives/Design Team members as appropriate.
• Ensure that all works are carried out to the highest Health, Safety and Quality standards.
• Ensure work is carried out to the highest of quality standards.
• Ordering and control of materials on site.
• Maintaining the site records – site diary, concrete register, records of deliveries etc.

General Foreman requirements:

• 5+ years construction experience is desired.
• Trades background or engineering / construction management degree
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
• Good time management and ability to multi-task
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
